ActionPoker Bonus Details

One of the world’s biggest deposit bonuses can be found at Action Poker. By using the Action Poker bonus code FTR players will be able to take advantage of a 100% up to $2,500 initial deposit bonus. This might just be the biggest deposit bonus in online poker history so be sure to take full advantage by depositing as much as you can.
The bonus is cleared by earning Player Option Points, or POPs. Players have to earn 14 POPs to clear each bonus dollar. POPs are earned by paying rake in real money cash games or fees in tournaments/SNGs. For every $1 paid in tournament fees players will receive 10 POPs. For example, a player competing in a $30+$3 SNG will earn 30 POPs. Earning points during cash game play is a bit more complicated. For every 10 cents you contribute to the rake you will earn 1 Point. The maximum rake paid at any table is $3, and the POPs are spread evenly across the table.
The bonus expires 45 days after depositing, which can make a big bonus difficult to clear. If you are able to deposit $2,500, you will have to clear 35,000 POPs. While this seems like a huge number, it actually results in quite a high rakeback percentage. For example, in order to earn 35,000 POPs a player will have to pay $3,500 in tournament fees, which is over 70% rakeback!
Breaking down the bonus further, in order for someone playing $10+$1 SNGs to clear the bonus, he/she needs to average playing nearly 80 a day, which on a site with lower traffic can be quite difficult. The best route will be to calculate how much you plan on playing before depositing, and then choosing an amount which you can clear. This is important, because as the bonus works, fall 1 POP short of clearing on Day 46, and you will receive NOTHING.
At first glance this bonus seems very attractive. Its high ceiling and rakeback percentage overshadow what can be an extremely tough bonus to clear. As long as players don’t bite off more than they can chew, they should be fine and on their way to clearing a large bonus.
(I’d rate this an 8 out of 10 on the clearing scale, pretty tough, however since the bonus is so high, it's overall difficulty would be a 5.)
